Pandemic: Day ??? - Descent

Since I don't journal, I've been trying my hand at a comic strip to keep myself sane..

This is the first one, although hopefully I'll have the gas to do some more I have ideas for.

I started this a month or so ago but couldn't get it to work and stepped away for a few weeks.

Sketching on the subway and at the JP Licks this week. Feels good to be drawing again.

These people should be happier. They have ice cream and the Red Sox had just won. A dour lot.

Astrodog

My friends' dog, Laika. Touched up one of the preliminary sketches so I could post it. This is an inch or two by an inch or two. Final piece is on an 11x14 bristol.

Back in the Saddle

First time putting pencil to paper yesterday since I got promoted back at the beginning of the September. Things have been crazy busy but seems to be leveling off now. #2 pencil, mirror, 30 minutes.

Also did some subway sketching on the way to see Lincoln and back.

A month or so ago I figured I needed a new ID pic so I banged this out. Yay, dynamic lighting!

Goalie Mask - Finished Product

Don McClelland at www.macmasks.com finished painting/airbrushing my goalie mask design onto my brother's mask and he did one heck of a sweet job. I am quite impressed. It's so rare that the final product in a creative process looks just like you saw it in your head. Check it out:
